The Redeemed Christian Church of God Lighthouse of Glory Darwen
We are a member of Redeemed Christian Church of God in UK and worldwide, a fellowship of born-again Christians from all walks of life. As a growing church, we are committed to making the Light and Glory of God known to individuals, families and communities.
Our mandate is to make God’s Glory and His Light dominate and reign through God’s undiluted word, fervent prayer, deep rooted worship and Direct/Relational approach to Evangelism.

Teachings through Undiluted word of God
We believe that God is a source of Light and brings illumination to darkened areas of humanity. God is source and creator of Light. The book of Genesis 1: 2 confirms that the earth was fill and full of Darkness until God brings light through His word.
The Word of God has the capacity to transform and bring meaning to life. As a church we take our encouragement from the Church in Berea who searches through the word consistently in order to be renewed in spirit / soul and for spiritual growth as found in Acts 17:10-11 :
[10] And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. [11] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Deep Rooted Worship
We believe that true worship transcends rituals, traditions, and external forms; it emanates from a sincere connection with God at the core of one’s being.
We also believe that worship is not about external focus but rather a genuine worship that comes from the heart. We also believe that worship is not only about singing but a disposition of heart towards Jesus in Truth and Spirit.
John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Fervent Prayer
We believe that Prayer is rooted in a believer’s faith. The book of Luke 18:1 KJV says
[1] And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
In RCCG Lighthouse of Glory our prayer is characterized by passion, sincerity, and intensity. Our prayer involves a heartfelt, earnest plea fueled by faith and a deep yearning for God’s presence and response. We believe that our fervent Prayer has tremendous influence to transform life and fulfilment of God’s purpose and will in individual lives . We also believe that a place of prayer is a weapon for Empowerment Power as described in James 5:16b,
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Direct and Relational Evangelism Approach.
At RCCG Lighthouse of Glory we believe in the Great Commision as indicated in the Book of Matthew 28:19-20. Also that Evangelism is a potent tool for sharing the message of Jesus Christ and drawing people to him. This sharing of the Gospel is likened to spiritual warfare, where Christians are called to stand firm in faith and share the truth.
